“Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Life, a grand laboratory.

We are curious scientists. Eager to conduct experiments, even if it means we will fail.

Imagine you are stepping onto a stage for a performance.

You feel butterflies fluttering in your stomach.

Life is a bit like that stage — sometimes.

You stumble, forget your lines, hair is a mess, your coat might get soiled or clothing out of style.

You might take an embarrassing tumble or two hearing the laughter ringing in your ears from witnesses of your most recent disaster.

Your failures are just part of the experiment.

What if we embraced life’s messiness with a grin?

What if those coarse edges and occasional failures are valuable data points in our grand living life experiment?

Emerson suggests that when we rise again, we will be less afraid of those tumbles.
